It’s a really hectic time for the Higher Education world at the moment, from the end of August until the end of October…possibly November we will be in and out of the office working on different projects all of which revolve around the new academic year starting. Although it is a wet & miserable Friday, the campus has transformed into something a little more exciting than usual. The University is playing host to the National Fire and Rescue Challenge Competition – 130 teams from across the country are competing in a range of simulated rescues. As I type, I can see two men dangling from our office by some rope – beats the grey skies and muddy puddles!
